What personal content do you collect and how do you use it?

Personal content is defined as data that can be used to identify you, and possibly contact you.

At Trov, we maintain strict standards when we work with personal information. The information we collect when you sign up for the Trov service or use the software allows us to provide customer support, to assist you in the use of your Trov, and to determine if we can offer you protection. We may also use your personal information to contact you about important notices, such as changes to our terms, conditions and policies.

As always, your privacy is paramount to Trov. You can read our Privacy Policy here.

In the event that you purchase Trov Protection or seek an insurance quote, information about you and your protected item that is required to provide you with insurance is supplied to the issuer of the insurance, KnightBrook Insurance Company, or National Specialty Insurance Company for residents of New York or Colorado. If you make a claim, the issuer of your insurance will have access to that information as well. Our underwriting partners will never have access to data in your Trov that is not related to Trov Protection or protected items. For details on underwriting partners’ privacy policies, please refer to KnightBrook Insurance Company’s Privacy Policy and the National Specialty Insurance Company Privacy Policy.
